Working Tuesday

After a good breakfast the group went to the home they are working on. Lorie strapped on her tool belt and with Mary's help started trimming out a room. What are the guys doing? Ask them when they return. By the way don't forget lunch- Brian.

Ross said the guys hung interior doors & kitchen cabinets, have a back deck to build, need to work on soffit and was asked if they could lay tile. All by Saturaday.

Everyone met at the church at 4 AM. Your could feel the excitement they had about helping others and just getting to know each other.

Off to the Pittsburgh airport, then to Atlanta with almost a 2 hour layover. Then finally to New Orleans.

Arriving at the church that is housing & feeding them. They were introduced to the staff there from Samaritan's Purse and the projects that would be worked on this week.

Come with us as we work with Samaritan's Purse to help those in New Orleans rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.
There are eight of us packing for an early Monday morning departure from New Wilmington, Pa to head to Pittsburgh airport where our flight takes off at 7:50 AM. We will arrive in New Orleans mid afternoon (with a time change).

The trip is for six days, arriving back in New Wilmington early evening Saturday, January 30Th.
